The Claudia Garvey Memorial Guild (CGMG) was recently established to create a pool of volunteers to assist Kevin Guest House. The CGMG has established committees to assist the needs of Kevin Guest House. Some of the CGMG's activities are assisting with the maintenance of the gardens, assisting with house cleaning projects, having group dinners prepared for guests, and handwriting thank you notes.
Anyone who has been to Kevin Guest House cannot help but notice its beautiful gardens. These gardens have helped lift the sprits of those undergoing unsettling times. They offer a place of solace as they reconnect with nature and the promise of new life. In keeping with these thoughts, we at the CGMG wish to offer you a point of remembrance of this special place.
One of the CGMG's first fundraising events will be a flower bulb sale. The CGMG will work in partnership with the Breck's Flower Company. The sale is underway now and will end September 30, 2008. The CGMG will use the proceeds to sustain itself and Kevin Guest House.
